The Secret Behind MIPRO's Wireless Microphones
Innovation and upgrades are the keys to this new second generation of products. Only through improvements in technology and the introduction of a host of exciting new features can the demand of the various wireless markets be met. Because wireless microphones are a state-of-the-art product, their product development must move forward rapidly. MIPRO has been in the forefront of the industry with every single designing detail fully supported by the most advanced technology to ensure that every MIPRO microphone meets the higher-level application demands of professional users.
A Stylish Appearance
The Proprietary Design of MIPRO's Microphone Housing
MH handheld transmitters came from the graceful lines of the beautiful Guanyin vase. Retaining this pleasing form from its predecessors, the new generation of these transmitters combines a rugged build with a newly enhanced grip.
Mechanical Upgrades
Enhanced mechanical designs were added to improve the ruggedness.
Integration of Capsule Grille and Housing
The grille thread has been changed from an external thread to an internal thread. This combination ensures a stronger and tighter fit when integrating the metal grille with the plastic housing to prevent cracking the housing when stressed.
New Grille Style for Better Identification
The durable silver-grey metallic grille with its "anti-roll" color band allows easy on-stage identification. The grille is made of high-carbon steel and has been hardened to ensure the condenser microphone capsule inside is free from any damage caused by an accidental drop.
Reinforced Mounting for Capsule Module
In previous capsule designs, unwanted noise could appear due to a loose connection if users did not tightly fix the capsule module to the PCB. The new generation of MIPRO handheld microphones overcomes this issue by adding a grease seal component to ensure there are no loose connections and poor contacts.
Extremely Low Touch Noise
The original capsule design possesses the characteristics of extremely low touch and pop noises because of its patented suspension design. Now, the new generation of MIPRO handheld microphones takes it one step further by improving the suspension design in its capsule module.
Improved Power Switch
A newly designed recessed power switch is now located on the upper housing for easier access.
Battery Compartment Improvement
Batteries are securely installed in the compartment, assuring no power cut-off under any vibration or impact. The lower housing serves as a battery cover to protect the batteries from accidental dropping and, because the new design doesn't use the lower housing to hold the batteries tight, the result is no loose threads or cracked housings.
Bottom Housing Features Color Band
A set of 10 different color bands is available to enhance channel identification.
High Quality Circuitry Characteristics
MIPRO's engineering team are forty-year veterans at designing and building rugged, high-performance wireless microphone systems. The exceptionally high quality design and performance characteristics of this new generation of handheld microphones is the culmination of their experience and desire to create the best possible product in the industry.
Condenser Capsule Is the Secret in Capturing a Natural Sound
For both audio professionals and MIPRO's founder, the reproduction of the "natural sound" is the ultimate goal. A pioneer in manufacturing condenser wireless microphones, MIPRO developed truly superior characteristics in their condenser microphone capsules, giving them the natural sound and performance characteristics that high-end audio professionals demand.
Condenser microphone capsules are technically difficult to design and manufacture. Consequently, the market has been saturated with inferior quality products that have created a misconception among users that condenser capsules don't sound as good as dynamic ones. MIPRO designs high quality condenser microphone capsules to ensure that the best sound quality can be achieved in professional applications. The superior fast transient response and wide frequency response of the condenser capsule are inherent characteristics not found in dynamic mic capsules, making them the ideal choice of the digital age in all professional applications.
High Dynamic Range Is Not Restricted
MIPRO's handheld microphones handle higher SPL input levels without distortion. The system's default output level is accurately pre-adjusted to match the microphone capsule's sensitivity and designed to deliver an optimal performance without overload distortion.
First to Adopt PLL-Synthesized Circuitry For Single Fixed-Frequency Oscillation
MIPRO's microphones are known for their stable and reliable wireless performance. The new PLL-synthesized circuitry in MIPRO's latest generation of handheld microphones increases the production cost, but it also significantly increases stability in the carrier frequency and has better spurious noise control while augmenting non-interference frequencies.
Using AA-sized Batteries
Although the use of AA-sized batteries means a higher production cost than that of a 9-volt battery model, the advantages outweigh the higher cost. AA batteries are readily available in all markets, affordable and have a 50% longer operating time.
Precision Adjustment
The PCB characteristics of all MIPRO handheld wireless microphones are automatically calibrated by precision equipment controlled by proprietary software programs, thus ensuring all specifications are met and are correct and stable.
MIPRO's State-of-the-Art Design
To meet market demands and stay ahead of the competition, we strive for product excellence through continued customer feedback and constant quality improvements. The second generation of MIPRO's MH-Series continues that tradition by improving the stability, transmitting efficiency, mechanical design and product characteristics of an already outstanding handheld wireless microphone. |
