Weak or worn-out transmitter batteries are a common cause of wireless problems, including complete failure, poor range, distorted audio and more susceptible to interference.

Always use fresh, new and high-quality alkaline batteries as they provide longer battery life than the normal cheaper types. Cheaper and weak batteries have much shorter life.

Signal strength and operating range tend to drop off as the battery dies, so it’s generally best to change your batteries at the beginning of every show / service, even if they aren’t completely dead.

A body-pack transmitter should not be worn where it is immediately adjacent to such a medical device. Note also that any medical-device disruption will cease when the RF transmitting source is turned off.

Do not cover the handheld transmitter antenna with hand & ascertain bodypack with an external antenna isn't wadded up or bent when wearing it. Operating range will be limited and frequent signal dropouts as it severely impairs its transmission.

Use MIPRO factory pre-coordinated frequencies in setting up multiple wireless systems to avoid interference with each other. Consult a wireless expert if you would like to mix systems from different brands or different series.

Do not mix receivers and transmitters with other brands and series. Use identical receiver and transmitter brands and series.

High squelch setting reduces operating range. If interference problems require a high squelch setting, eliminate the interference or change frequency to avoid the range loss.

Check the squelch control setting on the receiver. A higher squelch setting provides better protection against interference but reduces operating range. Set the control to the lowest position that reliably mutes the interference.
